Sustainability

Sustainability

Moza Banco maintains its deep institutional commitment to the socio-economic development of Mozambique and this position is translated into its guidelines, strategies and actions regarding Sustainability. In our actions we respect, value and prioritise dialogue with all stakeholders with whom we relate. We embrace Sustainability because we believe that companies are challenged to incorporate into their management a vision that goes beyond the goal of economic and financial profitability. This vision has led us to make a very deep commitment to Sustainability and to use its principles as part of our business strategy.

Analysis of Socio-Environmental Risks and Opportunities

As a financial institution, we relate to all productive sectors of the economy and we are aware of our potential to influence positive changes in society. This is why we provide a structured dialogue with all stakeholders, manage risks and offer sustainable business opportunities, considering market trends, regulations and demands of clients, employees and society.

To strengthen this approach, we adopt specific policies and adhere to voluntary and mandatory commitments that guide the practices of our business units. We incorporate social and environmental criteria in the granting of credit and in investment analysis, aimed at mitigating social and environmental risks.
