“Kussila” is the big winner of the Mulher+ (Woman+) Project

The "Mulher+" competition ended last Saturday, an ICEF initiative in partnership with Moza Banco, with the aim of promoting a culture of female entrepreneurship, creating networking, sharing experiences between women from different professional areas and developing financial literacy activities.

Mulher + is an innovative concept that aims to have a social and economic impact on the world of Mozambican entrepreneurship, highlighting the value of women. The aim of this initiative was to give a voice to the actions, ideas and initiatives of anonymous women whose work creates an impact on the lives of the people around them, local communities, and who can be examples of success for the world in general.

There were 6 groups in total, comprised of 30 women each, which were involved in this project, and the big winner was announced on June 5th. This is the Kussila Group, which presented a food-processing project with the aim of reducing cooking time and improving quality. In the first phase, "Kussila" proposes to process and preserve matapa, fresh coconut, peanuts and garlic, essential food products in the daily life of Mozambican families. The winning group received funding from Moza Banco for having presented the best project, according to the jury's classification.

This partnership represents another clear demonstration of the importance that Moza Banco places on entrepreneurship and promotion of sustainable businesses through consistent support to initiatives with the potential of adding value to the national economy and the country as a whole.
